The Glass Castle

The Glass Castle tells the story of a young girl growing up in a troubled family that frequently moves to avoid the FBI. Despite living in poverty, she is shaped by her father, who struggles with alcoholism but captivates her with imaginative stories to distract from their difficult circumstances, and her mother, who is self-centered and rejects traditional family roles. Alongside her younger brother and sister and an older sister, the children rely on each other as they navigate the challenges of their unconventional family life and come of age.
