Quick Synopsis
In 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War in South Africa, Lieutenant Chard, a practical and approachable officer, and Lieutenant Bromhead, a more formal and reserved man, are tasked with defending the remote British outpost at Rorke's Drift in Natal. Despite being heavily outnumbered by Zulu warriors, the two officers must organize the small garrison to hold their position against the impending attack.
