Virgin Territory

During the Black Death in 14th century Tuscany, ten young people from Florence escape the plague by retreating to the countryside. Unlike the traditional storytelling of the Decameron, their time is filled with romantic encounters, humorous and risqué conversations, sword fights, encounters with nuns who display unexpected desires, conflicts involving Saracen pirates, and even an unusual episode involving a cow, all set against the backdrop of the era's turmoil.
