Quick Synopsis
Near the summit of K2, the world's second-highest mountain, climber Annie Garrett becomes trapped and injured in a cold cavern. She manages to send a distress call to base camp, where her brother Peter receives the message. Determined to save her and the rest of her group, Peter organizes a rescue team to reach them before the harsh mountain conditions become fatal. As the rescuers navigate the dangerous terrain, they encounter a series of life-threatening challenges that threaten both the success of the mission and their own survival.
Detailed Synopsis of Vertical Limit
Trapped near the summit of K2, the world's second-highest mountain, Annie Garrett radios to base camp for help. Brother Peter hears Annie's message and assembles a team to save her and her group before they succumb to K2's unforgiving elements. But, as Annie lays injured in an icy cavern, the rescuers face several terrifying events that could end the rescue attempt -- and their lives.
