Quick Synopsis
Anthony Stoner, an unemployed young man who enjoys playing drums and smoking marijuana, leaves his strict parents' home to travel and explore life on his own. During his journey, he meets Pedro de Pacas, who shares similar interests. The two quickly become friends but are arrested for possessing marijuana. They are released due to a legal technicality, which allows them to continue their adventures together. Eventually, Anthony and Pedro enter a rock band contest where they perform the energetic song "Earache My Eye."
Detailed Synopsis of Up in Smoke
An unemployed pot-smoking slacker and amateur drummer, Anthony Stoner ditches his strict parents and hits the road, eventually meeting kindred spirit Pedro de Pacas. While the drug-ingesting duo is soon arrested for possession of marijuana, Anthony and Pedro get released on a technicality, allowing them to continue their many misadventures and ultimately compete in a rock band contest, where they perform the raucous tune "Earache My Eye."
