Quick Synopsis
In medieval Britain, King Arthur sets out on a quest to find the Knights of the Round Table, accompanied by his loyal squire. He gathers a group of knights, including Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Robin who is less courageous than Lancelot, and Sir Galahad the Pure. During their journey, Arthur encounters the Black Knight, who continues to challenge him despite losing all his limbs in combat. Eventually, they arrive at Camelot, but Arthur chooses not to enter, dismissing the castle as a foolish place.
Detailed Synopsis of Monty Python and the Holy Grail
King Arthur, accompanied by his squire, recruits his Knights of the Round Table, including Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot and Sir Galahad the Pure. On the way, Arthur battles the Black Knight who, despite having had all his limbs chopped off, insists he can still fight. They reach Camelot, but Arthur decides not to enter, as "it is a silly place".
