The Proposition

Set in 1880s Australia, the story follows Charlie Burns, a man caught in a harsh moral conflict when a lawman proposes a grim deal: to save his younger brother from execution, Charlie must track down and kill his older brother, who is accused of serious crimes including rape and murder. As Charlie travels into a remote and unforgiving part of the Outback, he confronts the difficult choice between family loyalty and justice, knowing that the situation is likely to end in violence.
