Quick Synopsis
Kevin, a smart but restricted teenager, agrees to help Maxwell, a boy struggling with reading, improve his skills. In exchange, Maxwell takes Kevin out to places he is not allowed to visit on his own. Both considered social outcasts in their town, Kevin and Maxwell gradually discover they share many similarities and come to accept their differences, embracing their identities as outsiders and supporting each other against the challenges they face.
Detailed Synopsis of The Mighty
Kevin, an intelligent guy helps out Maxwell to improve his reading skills. In return, Kevin wants Maxwell to take him out places since he is not authorized to go out. Being the social outcasts of the town, Kevin and Maxwell come to realize that they are similar to each other and accept that they are "freaks" and nothing will stop them.
