Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Raoul Duke, a journalist, and his attorney Dr. Gonzo travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a red convertible to cover a motorcycle race, bringing a suitcase filled with various drugs. As they spend time in Las Vegas, their drug use escalates rapidly, leading them to cause significant damage to their hotel room and become increasingly worried about potential legal trouble. Duke initially decides to drive back to Los Angeles, but after a strange encounter with a police officer, he changes his mind and returns to Las Vegas to continue their intense drug-fueled experience.
