The Maverick Queen

Kit Banion, a woman originally from Virginia who grew up during the turbulent period after the Civil War, has made a new life for herself in Wyoming. There, she has built a successful business, including owning a hotel named "The Maverick Queen," a nickname she earned by branding unmarked cattle in her early days on the frontier. Her life becomes complicated when a Pinkerton detective arrives, posing as Jeff Younger, the supposed nephew of the notorious Younger brothers. His mission is to track down the outlaw Butch Cassidy and his gang, known as The Wild Bunch, bringing both romance and conflict into Kit's world.
