The Manchurian Candidate

During the final stages of the Korean War, a group of U.S. soldiers is taken prisoner by communist forces and subjected to brainwashing. After the war ends, the soldiers are sent back to the United States, where Sergeant Raymond Shaw is celebrated as a war hero by his fellow platoon members. Meanwhile, Captain Bennett Marco, who led the platoon, begins experiencing disturbing nightmares related to their captivity. Troubled by these visions, Marco starts investigating and gradually uncovers a dangerous conspiracy involving the brainwashed soldiers.
