The Keep

During World War II, a German army unit is assigned to guard a mountain pass in a remote village located in Romania's Carpathian Mountains. They establish their base in an old stone fortress nearby. While stationed there, two soldiers accidentally unleash a strange and dangerous entity that begins to kill or corrupt anyone it comes into contact with. This supernatural threat attracts the attention of a Gestapo commander, a Jewish scholar familiar with ancient lore, and a mysterious traveler who arrives in the area, each seeking to understand or stop the entity.
