Quick Synopsis
Following the last Godzilla attack, various groups begin collecting samples of Godzilla's cells, leading to a small-scale arms race. Worried about the possibility of Godzilla returning, the Japanese government decides to develop a new biological weapon called ANEB (Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria) using these cells. To assist in this effort, they enlist geneticist Genshiro Shiragami, whose experiments ultimately produce an unexpected new mutation.
Detailed Synopsis of Godzilla vs. Biollante
After the previous Godzilla attack, a miniature arms race ensues to collect his cells. Concerned over Godzilla's possible return, the Japanese government uses the cells to create a new bio-weapon, ANEB (Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria). They seeks the aid of geneticist Genshiro Shiragami, who's experiments result in a new mutation.
