The Isle

Hee-Jin, a mute woman, works as a clerk at a fishing resort located in a remote area of the Korean countryside, where she sells bait, food, and sometimes offers companionship to the visiting fishermen. Her life changes when she meets Hyun-Shik, a man hiding from the police. After he attempts to take his own life, Hee-Jin saves him using a fish hook, and the two develop a romantic connection amid the isolation of the resort.
