Quick Synopsis
During World War II, twelve American military prisoners, each convicted of serious crimes and facing death sentences, are given a chance to reduce their punishments by undertaking a dangerous mission. They are tasked with infiltrating a heavily guarded enemy château in Nazi-occupied territory to eliminate the high-ranking Nazi officers who are using it as a vacation retreat. Despite the risks, the prisoners agree to carry out the operation in hopes of earning their freedom.
Detailed Synopsis of The Dirty Dozen
12 American military prisoners in World War II are ordered to infiltrate a well-guarded enemy château and kill the Nazi officers vacationing there. The soldiers, most of whom are facing death sentences for a variety of violent crimes, agree to the mission and the possible commuting of their sentences.
