The Bone Collector

Lincoln Rhyme was once the top homicide detective and a leading forensic expert in the department, but after a severe injury left him paralyzed and unable to work, he became withdrawn and depressed. When a particularly brutal murder occurs in Manhattan and the police struggle to find leads, they turn to Rhyme for help. He teams up with Amelia Donaghy, a new police officer who showed quick thinking by preserving the crime scene. Amelia serves as Rhyme's eyes and hands at the scene, while he analyzes the evidence from his home. Together, they follow a series of cryptic clues left by the killer, working to identify and stop the serial murderer before more lives are lost.
