Mark Sway, a clever young boy from the streets of Louisiana, witnesses the suicide of Jerome Clifford, a well-known local lawyer. Before Clifford takes his own life, he reveals to Mark the secret location of a buried body belonging to a missing Senator. Clifford's client, Barry 'The Blade' Muldano, is a Mafia hitman, and after the lawyer's death, both the FBI and the Mafia suspect that Mark has important information about the case. As Mark is found at the scene, he becomes caught in a dangerous situation where both sides try to uncover what he knows.

Detailed Synopsis of The Client

A street-wise kid, Mark Sway, sees the suicide of Jerome Clifford, a prominent Louisiana lawyer, whose current client is Barry 'The Blade' Muldano, a Mafia hit-man. Before Jerome shoots himself, he tells Mark where the body of a Senator is buried. Clifford shoots himself and Mark is found at the scene, and both the FBI and the Mafia quickly realize that Mark probably knows more than he says.
