The story takes place on an island inhabited mostly by cheerful, flightless birds, with a few exceptions. Among them are Red, a bird known for his short temper, Chuck, who is very fast, and Bomb, who has a fiery personality. These three have always felt like outsiders on the island. Their lives change when a group of mysterious green pigs arrives, and Red, Chuck, and Bomb must work together to uncover the pigs' intentions and protect their home.

An island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red, a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders.
