Sword of the Stranger

In feudal Japan, a young boy named Kotaro and his dog are being chased by skilled Chinese assassins. During their escape, they encounter No Name, a quiet and skilled swordsman who becomes involved in their struggle. After No Name helps save Kotaro's dog from being poisoned, the three form a tentative bond. However, when the assassins catch up to Kotaro, No Name must confront his own troubled past in order to protect the boy and prevent a tragic outcome.
