Quick Synopsis
Following their intense battle with Hades, the goddess Athena and her Saints are in a period of recovery when they confront a new threat: Artemis, the moon goddess. Artemis claims the role of Earth's guardian deity, displacing Athena and seizing control of the Sanctuary. Under Artemis's rule, Athena's Saints are forced into servitude. When the Bronze Saints discover that Athena has been banished by Artemis, they resolve to challenge the moon goddess to rescue Athena and restore freedom to Earth from Artemis's oppressive rule.
Detailed Synopsis of Saint Seiya Heaven Chapter: Overture
After the bloody battle against Hades, the goddess Athena and her saints are still recovering when they find themselves face to face with their newest and most formidable foe: the dreadful moon goddess Artemis. Artemis replaces Athena as the earth guardian deity and takes over the Sanctuary, turning Athena's Saints into her servants. Upon invading the Sanctuary, the Bronze Saints learn that Athena was banished by Artemis and decide to fight the moon goddess in order to rescue their true goddess and free the Earth from Artemis's ominous control.
