Plainclothes

Set in 1990s New York City, the story follows an undercover police officer tasked with identifying and arresting gay men as part of a sting operation. During his assignment, he unexpectedly forms a meaningful and intimate bond with one of the men he is supposed to target. As their relationship grows, the officer faces increasing pressure from his department to complete the arrests, forcing him to struggle with conflicting feelings between his professional responsibilities and his personal emotions.
