This film follows a family living in Northeast China over forty years, showing how they experience both good and difficult times. Throughout these decades, they face changing relationships filled with love and conflict, as well as shifts in their financial and personal fortunes. Despite the challenges and unpredictable events they encounter, the family remains closely connected, supporting each other and maintaining a strong dedication to the land they have inherited and depend on for their livelihood.
