In 1967 Los Angeles, a widowed mother runs a séance scam business with her two daughters, using fake spiritual tricks to attract customers. To make their act more convincing, they introduce a new stunt involving a Ouija board, but this accidentally allows a real evil spirit to enter their home. When the youngest daughter becomes possessed by this relentless spirit, the family must face terrifying challenges to rescue her and find a way to send the spirit back to the afterlife.
