The second story, "Ayashiki Raihousha," follows Tanuma, who begins receiving visits from a mysterious youkai. This visitor appears almost daily, engaging in brief conversations with Tanuma before leaving. Although Natsume knows the visitor is a youkai and worries about Tanuma's well-being, Tanuma enjoys these encounters. However, despite the youkai's harmless intentions, Tanuma's health gradually declines as the visits continue.
