When he discovers that his ex-wife is looking for a housekeeper, he decides to apply for the job by disguising himself as a British nanny named Mrs. Doubtfire. In this new role, Daniel is able to spend more time with his children, becoming both a close friend and a more responsible parent than he had been before.
