Quick Synopsis
In a mountain village in the Belluno province of Italy, which is facing depopulation, a group of children spend their summer days playing war among abandoned houses. Tommaso, Riccardo, and their friends work together to build a motor tricycle, dividing their time between parking lots and hangars. Lorenzo, the son of a transhumant shepherd, wishes to avoid following in his father's footsteps and instead hopes to experience a typical summer like other teenagers. The film MOVIDA portrays the lives and perspectives of these children and young people living in this rural area.
Detailed Synopsis of Movida
Children play war between the abandoned houses of a mountain village. Tommaso and Riccardo with other guys build a motor tricycle, spending the summer between the parking lots and hangars. Lorenzo is the son of a transhumant shepherd, and he wouldn’t like to continue his father’s profession, but to spend a summer like other teenagers. Belluno is one of the many Italian provinces that is becoming depopulated. MOVIDA tells it through the eyes of children and young people who live there.
