Ghost Cat Anzu

Karin, a sharp and independent young girl, is left by her father in a small rural village in Japan, where she moves into a temple with her grandfather. There, she encounters Anzu, a large ghostly cat who is known for being lazy but has been assigned to watch over her. Karin, unsure about trusting Anzu, deliberately interferes with the tasks he performs for the villagers and instead forms friendships with the unusual forest spirits nearby. When Anzu tries to gain Karin's trust, he unintentionally makes a dangerous pact with a malevolent force, leading to chaotic consequences for the village and everyone involved.
