Days of Thunder

Cole Trickle is a skilled but inexperienced stock car driver who finally gets a chance to prove himself in professional racing. With the mentorship of Harry Hogge, an experienced crew chief, Cole begins to attract attention for his performance on the track. However, his growing rivalry with another driver escalates, leading to a dangerous crash that damages both their cars and puts Cole's career at risk. While recovering from his injuries, Cole receives support from his doctor, which helps him confront his fears and work toward returning to racing.
