Quick Synopsis
Three years after the original Battle Royale, Shuya Nanahara has become a well-known terrorist leading a group called Wild Seven. On Christmas Day, they carry out a devastating attack in Tokyo that destroys several buildings and results in 8,000 deaths. In response, the government organizes a new Battle Royale game with a twist: the students are paired up with electronic collars linked so that if one dies, the other does too. These pairs are given three days to find and kill Nanahara, or they will be killed themselves.
Detailed Synopsis of Battle Royale II: Requiem
It's three years after the events of the original Battle Royale, and Shuya Nanahara is now an internationally-known terrorist determined to bring down the government. His terrorist group, Wild Seven, stages an attack that levels several buildings in Tokyo on Christmas Day, killing 8000 people. In order for the government to study the benefits of "teamwork", the new students work in pairs, with their collars electronically linked so that if one of them is killed, the other dies as well. They must kill Nanahara in three days - or die.
