All About Lily Chou-Chou

The film follows two high school students, Yūichi Hasumi and Shūsuke Hoshino, as they navigate the difficulties of adolescence. Set in Japan, their friendship experiences changes and challenges influenced by the social pressures and conflicts typical of their teenage years. Throughout the story, Yūichi finds comfort and escape in the ethereal music of pop singer Lily Chou-Chou, which serves as a backdrop to the evolving dynamics between the two boys.
