Derek Zoolander is a famous male model who has won VH1's Male Model of the Year award three times. However, his confidence is shaken when Hansel, a trendy and laid-back model, wins the award instead. Taking advantage of this, the sinister fashion designer Mugatu plots to brainwash Derek into becoming an assassin. Clear the runway for Derek Zoolander, VH1's three-time male model of the year. His face falls when hippie-chic Hansel scooters in to steal this year's award. The evil fashion guru Mugatu seizes the opportunity to turn Derek into a killing machine.
