Following their victory at the intense Inter High cycling race, Sakamichi Onoda and his teammates from Souhoku High School are invited to participate in the Kumamoto Hi Province Mountain Range Race held late in the summer. This challenging event attracts top high school cycling teams from across Japan, including Souhoku's main rivals Hakone Academy, who are determined to defeat them, as well as Kyoto Fushimi, Hiroshima Kureminami, and the local Kumamoto Daiichi High School team led by Shin Yoshimoto.
Detailed Synopsis of Yowamushi Pedal: The Movie
After winning the fierce Inter High race, Sakamichi and the other Souhoku team members receive an invitation to compete in the Kumamoto Hi Province Mountain Range Race towards the end of summer. The top-tier teams from around the country compete in this race, including Souhoku's rivals Hakone Academy (which yearns to take down Souhoku), Kyoto Fushimi, and Hiroshima Kureminami - as well as Kumamoto Daiichi High School's team led by Shin Yoshimoto.
