Fourteen-year-old Elias lives in a small village where he often feels isolated from those around him. His perspective begins to change when a new boy named Alexander, who is also fourteen, moves in next door. Through their growing friendship, Elias starts to understand and confront his emerging feelings and sexuality in the context of his close-knit community.
