Yellow Earth

During the 1930s in rural China, a communist soldier is assigned to a remote area to gather traditional folk songs. He stays with a local peasant family consisting of a widowed father and his two young children. As he lives among them, he encounters a way of life very different from his own urban background. Over time, through daily interactions and shared experiences, he earns the family's trust and gains a deeper understanding of their culture and struggles.
