Quick Synopsis
While traveling through the forest, Emperor Qi becomes lost and encounters Wu Yen, a local chief who is destined to be his bride. During this meeting, he accidentally releases a fox fairy known for her flirtatious nature. The fox fairy quickly becomes infatuated with both Emperor Qi and Wu Yen, using her ability to change between male and female forms to awkwardly court each of them. This leads to a complicated love triangle, with the emperor caught between his feelings for Wu Yen and the fox fairy, while the fox fairy tries to win over whichever of the two agrees to marry her first.
Detailed Synopsis of Wu Yen
Lost in the woods, the Emperor Qi stumbles across local chief Wu Yen, his predestined bride, only to accidentally free a promiscuous fox fairy who promptly falls in love with both of them, changing between man and woman to clumsily woo each, setting the scene for a constantly shifting triangle with the emperor torn between both the fox fairy and Wu Yen and the fox fairy after whichever one will agree to marry her first.
