U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard is transporting a group of prisoners on a flight from Chicago to New York when the plane crashes, allowing one of the convicts, Mark Sheridan, to escape. U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard is accompanying a plane load of convicts from Chicago to New York. The plane crashes spectacularly, and Mark Sheridan escapes.
