Quick Synopsis
Amy, a magazine writer raised by a father who convinced her that monogamy is unrealistic, has embraced a lifestyle of casual relationships without commitment. Although she enjoys this freedom, she feels stuck in a repetitive pattern. While working on a profile about Aaron Conners, a successful and personable sports doctor, Amy unexpectedly begins to develop genuine feelings for him. Aaron also appears to be interested in her, which leads Amy to reconsider her approach to relationships and contemplate changing her behavior to confront her fears about commitment.
Detailed Synopsis of Trainwreck
Ever since her father drilled into her head that monogamy isn't realistic, magazine writer Amy has made promiscuity her credo. As much as she enjoys an uninhibited life free of commitment, Amy is really in a rut. While writing a profile about charming and successful sports doctor Aaron Conners, she finds herself actually falling in love for the first time -- and what's more, Aaron seems to really like her too. Amy starts to wonder if it's time to clean up her act and face her fears.
