Quick Synopsis

Karol Karol, a Polish immigrant living in France, faces a series of personal and professional setbacks when his French wife, Dominique, divorces him after six months of marriage because of his impotence. Following the divorce, Karol loses his job and the business they had together, which forces him to leave France. Determined to return to Poland, he seeks help from Mikołaj, another Polish expatriate, who agrees to assist him in crossing the border back to their home country.
