In New York City, a well-known gang leader named Cyrus organizes a gathering of various gangs to propose ending their turf conflicts and uniting to control the city together. During this meeting, Cyrus is unexpectedly killed by a rival gang leader, but the blame is mistakenly placed on the Warriors, a gang from Coney Island. As a result, the Warriors find themselves pursued by both the police and hostile gangs across the city, forcing them to navigate dangerous territory to clear their name.

Prominent gang leader Cyrus calls a meeting of New York's gangs to set aside their turf wars and take over the city. At the meeting, a rival leader kills Cyrus, but a Coney Island gang called the Warriors is wrongly blamed for Cyrus' death. Before you know it, the cops and every gangbanger in town is hot on the Warriors' trail.
