Quick Synopsis

After being abandoned by her previous owners at just two months old, a kitten named Chibi-neko is taken in by an 18-year-old young man named Tokio. Tokio's mother, despite her allergy to cats and fear of them, agrees to let him keep Chibi-neko because she worries about his emotional state following his failure to pass university entrance exams. Chibi-neko quickly forms a strong bond with Tokio and, in her own perspective, imagines herself as a small human who can speak, although others only hear her meows. She also believes that all humans were once kittens like herself. One day, a stray cat tells Chibi-neko about a mythical place called Cottonland, a paradise where dreams are said to come true.
