The Quiet Man

An American named Sean Thornton returns to his childhood village in Ireland after many years abroad. As he settles back into the rural community, he becomes involved in a romantic relationship with a local woman, Mary Kate Danaher. However, his presence and courtship lead to tensions and conflicts with the villagers, especially with Mary Kate's brother, which challenge Sean's desire for peace and belonging in his ancestral home.
