After recently saving the magical land of Fantasia from destruction, Bastian finds himself drawn back into this world. He discovers that Fantasia is once again in danger, this time from an evil sorceress named Xayide who is causing widespread destruction. To protect Fantasia, Bastian teams up with the warrior Atreyu, and together they confront the mysterious force known as the Emptiness threatening their world.

Once again, Bastian is transported to the world of Fantasia which he recently managed to save from destruction. However, the land is now being destroyed by an evil sorceress, Xayide, so he must join up with Atreyu and face the Emptiness once more.
