Jerry Welbach, who works reluctantly as a bagman for a mob boss, faces two pressing demands. His boss orders him to go to Mexico to recover a valuable antique pistol called "the Mexican," warning him of serious consequences if he fails. At the same time, Jerry's girlfriend Samantha urges him to leave the mob life behind. Choosing to stay alive and keep Samantha in his life rather than face a deadly outcome, Jerry decides to travel to Mexico to complete the dangerous task.
Detailed Synopsis of The Mexican
Jerry Welbach, a reluctant bagman, has been given two ultimatums: The first is from his mob boss to travel to Mexico and retrieve a priceless antique pistol, known as "the Mexican"... or suffer the consequences. The second is from his girlfriend Samantha to end his association with the mob. Jerry figures alive and in trouble with Samantha is better than the more permanent alternative, so he heads south of the border.
