The Legend of Hei

Luo Xiaohei, a cat spirit, loses his forest home when humans cut down the trees, forcing him to search for a new place to live. During his journey, he meets a group of other spirit creatures who welcome him and share their goal of reclaiming the land they believe belongs to them. Their plans are disrupted when they encounter a human named Wuxian, who separates Luo Xiaohei from the other spirits. Together, Luo Xiaohei and Wuxian travel, during which the cat spirit learns to control his powers and begins to develop his own perspective on whether he should side with the spirits or the humans.
