The Killers

In a small diner, two hit men arrive looking for a man known as "the Swede." When they find him, the Swede is calm and does not resist, suggesting he anticipated their arrival. After the Swede is killed, an insurance investigator becomes suspicious because of the life insurance policy and begins to examine the case more closely. As the investigator uncovers details about the Swede's past, it emerges that he was deeply involved with a woman who may have persuaded him to participate in a bank robbery orchestrated by another man.
