Quick Synopsis

Shelley, who has been enjoying a carefree life at the Playboy Mansion, is suddenly forced to leave after a rival causes her expulsion. With no place to stay, she ends up meeting the socially awkward members of the Zeta Alpha Zeta sorority. The seven women face losing their sorority house to the rival Phi Iota Mu group unless they can recruit a new pledge class. To help them succeed, Shelley agrees to teach the Zetas about makeup and how to attract men, while she herself learns from them about embracing individuality. Through this exchange, both Shelley and the sorority members discover the importance of being true to themselves rather than pretending to fit in.

Detailed Synopsis of The House Bunny

Shelley is living a carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion. With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota Mu. In order to accomplish their goal, they need Shelley to teach them the ways of makeup and men; at the same time, Shelley needs some of what the Zetas have - a sense of individuality. The combination leads all the girls to learn how to stop pretending and start being themselves.
