In Los Angeles, social worker Chandler Jarrell is known for his skill in locating missing children. Meanwhile, a young Tibetan boy known as the Golden Child, believed to have mystical powers, is kidnapped by the villainous Sardo Numspa, threatening the future of humanity. Priestess Kee Nang travels from Tibet to Los Angeles in search of the Chosen One who can rescue the boy. After seeing Chandler on television, she approaches him for help, even though he doubts that he is the person destined to save the child.
Detailed Synopsis of The Golden Child
After a Tibetan boy, the mystical Golden Child, is kidnapped by the evil Sardo Numspa, humankind's fate hangs in the balance. On the other side of the world in Los Angeles, the priestess Kee Nang seeks the Chosen One, who will save the boy from death. When Nang sees social worker Chandler Jarrell on television discussing his ability to find missing children, she solicits his expertise, despite his skepticism over being "chosen."
