The Drug King

Set in Busan, South Korea during the 1970s, the story follows Lee Doo-sam, a small-time smuggler who becomes involved with a drug gang after assisting them in smuggling methamphetamine. As he becomes more deeply entangled in the criminal world, Lee uses his intelligence and ambition to rise through the ranks, eventually taking control of the drug trade in the city. He leads a double life, presenting himself as a respectable community leader during the day while secretly operating as a notorious drug lord at night.
