After Jerusalem falls in 605 B.C., Daniel is captured and taken into slavery, where he is made to serve King Nebuchadnezzar, the most powerful ruler of the time. Despite the constant danger to his life, Daniel earns the king's trust and becomes one of his advisors. Throughout his service, Daniel faces threats and challenges but remains loyal to the king until he encounters a situation that forces him to choose between obeying the king's orders and staying true to his faith in God. When this choice puts him in grave danger, Daniel relies on his faith to protect him as he faces the threat of being thrown into a den of lions.
Detailed Synopsis of The Book of Daniel
Taken into slavery after the fall of Jerusalem in 605 B.C., Daniel is forced to serve the most powerful king in the world, King Nebuchadnezzar. Faced with imminent death, Daniel proves himself a trusted Advisor and is placed among the king's wise men. Threatened by death at every turn Daniel never ceases to serve the king until he is forced to choose between serving the king or honoring God. With his life at stake, Daniel has nothing but his faith to stand between him and the lions' den.
