The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

Set during the Qing Dynasty, the story follows a young man whose father, a fishmonger, is killed by the ruling Manchu government because of his involvement in an anti-government movement. After his father's death, the son escapes to the Shaolin Temple, where he intends to train in their secret martial arts techniques in order to gain the skills needed to take revenge against those responsible.
